UChile’s Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences houses Physics and Electrical Engineering on one 150,000 m² campus with leading labs and teaching facilities. The Molecular Nanoelectronics Group operates a class-1000 cleanroom with maskless UV lithography, an e-beam evaporator, and full low-noise charge-transport measurement setups.

The Institute of Physics Belgrade, a National Institute of the Republic of Serbia, is a first-class research institution dedicated to the study of physics and related disciplines. The research conducted here into the fundamental mechanisms of nature is of immense value to the scientific, educational, cultural, and the overall socio-economic development of Serbia.
Owing to its unique spirit, state-of-the-art research and fruitful innovations, the Institute of Physics is recognized today in Serbia as a leading national research institution, in the region as a center of excellence, and in Europe and globally as a trustworthy partner and a relevant research center. The Institute of Physics hosts four national and European Centers of Excellence, of one of which is Center for Solid State Physics and New Materials, where researchers on this project are based.
